I really have no idea what my second stop motion will be, I do know that it well involve 1 or 2 people moving across a room. Hopefully doing something funny and interesting. The idea will come to me shortly–I just dont know what it is yet :)

For my first stop motion project I want to have a pair of high heels walk down the stairs. I will have them start out at the top, and then move each shoe one at a time down the stairs to give the effect of a person walking down stairs. I will do this until the shoes reach the end of the stairs. To shoot these photos I will use a tripod so each shot will be the same.

So far we have done a few things this month. Creating collages in photo shop and editing photos. Also, we created a block poster with a photo we edited in photo shop. I like what we have done so far, I have learned more about photo shop and how to edit a photo better.

I did not care for creating the block poster, I didn’t like taping ALLL the pages together..which I haven’t finished yet :) I would not care to ever to do that again.

I did like spending time taking photos and editing them. The collage making was fun, I wouldn’t mind making another one. Also, I would like to continue to take pictures and edit them.

Ansel Adams was born in San Francisco on February 20, 1902. He spent his childhood playing in the sand dunes around the Golden Gate, where he became fond of nature. This inspired him to take photos of nature. Adams interest in photography grew as he got older and often drew him to the mountains.

Ansel Adams took beautiful photographs of landscapes throughout the west. He took all of his pictures in black and white film, which gives the photo a dramatic effect. His photos were inspired by a trip he took as a boy to Yosemite. In 1927 Adams became part of the Clubs annual outing, also known as the High Trip. He became the Clubs official photographer.

Adams was often ridiculed for not including humans in his photographs ,but he was more interested in nature and landscapes. He liked to capture untouched wilderness in national parks and untouched nature throughout the west. He experienced with different filters on his camera, and became very good at capturing a beautiful landscape. Wealthy people began to hear about him and hire him to take photos of their homes and family portraits.

Adams died on April 22, 1982, Congress set aside some land in Sierra Nevada in California and named in “Ansel Adams Wilderness” and a mountain was named “Mount Ansel Adams” in his honor. His photos became more popular after his death.

I know a little about digital photography, but I want to gain more knowledge on it. I want to be able to edit a photo correctly, and make it look half way decent. I know nothing about video or blogging. I hope by the end of this semester I will be able to blog and know at least something about video, and take that knowledge on to college.
